Africville Genealogy Society

On June 15, 2009, the Rev. Jesse Jackson was presented with at the Nova Scotia Alliance of Black School Educators, the book about Africville. This was presented by the Genealogy President, Irving Carvery in his capacity as the Chair of the Halifax Regional Municipality School Board.
